1、在基坑周邊、未安裝護欄的陽臺、料臺、雨棚、挑平臺周邊、無外腳手架的屋面、樓層周邊及水箱周邊等，都需要安裝臨邊防護欄。

二、防護欄由上下橫桿、邊框以及內豎管或網片焊接而成，上桿離地1.1-1.2m，下桿離地0.5-0.6m，當橫桿長度達到2m以上時，需要加設專用立柱。
